Deployment of Mobile Vans (under FIF support of NABARD)

An initiative towards demonstration of digital banking technologies for promoting Digital Financial Literacy.

Assam Gramin Vikash Bank has taken a significant step forward in promotion of Digital Banking by introducing 04 Nos. of Mobile Vans equipped with ATM into its bouquet of services. The Mobile Vans were procured by the banks with the support of NABARD under Financial Inclusion Fund (FIF) which were deployed in Guwahati, Nalbari, Diphu and Silchar. The initiative will the pave the way for promotion of digital financial literacy through demonstration of various digital banking technologies in rural areas of the region. Assam Gramin Vikash Bank has been playing a pivotal role for growth and development of the rural economy of the state and this initiative has added another feather in the cap of the Bank.
