Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM)
DAY-NRLM is the flagship program of Govt. of India for promoting poverty reduction through building strong institutions of the poor, particularly women, and enabling these institutions to access a range of financial services and livelihood services.

Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM):
The Self Employment Program (SEP) of NULM focuses on providing financial assistance through provision of interest subsidy on loans to support establishment of Individual & Group Enterprises and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of urban poor.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY):
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The objective of this Skill Certification scheme is to enable Indian youth to take up industry relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme (PMEGP):
PMEGP is a credit linked subsidy programme launched on 15th August 2008 by merging the two erstwhile schemes called Prime Minister’s Rojgar Yojana (PMRY) and Rural Employment Generation Programme (REGP).

Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY):
Under the scheme a loan of upto Rs. 50,000 is given under sub-scheme ‘Shishu’; between Rs. 50,000 to 5.0 Lakhs under sub-scheme ‘Kishore’; and between 5.0 Lakhs to 10.0 Lakhs under sub-scheme ‘Tarun’. Loans taken do not require collaterals. These measures are aimed at increasing the confidence of young, educated or skilled workers who would now be able to aspire to become first generation entrepreneurs; existing small businesses, too, will be able to expand their activities.

Stand-up India Scheme:
The Scheme facilitates bank loans between Rs.10 lakh and Rs.1 crore to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe borrower or Woman borrower for setting up Greenfield enterprises. Apart from providing credit facility, Stand up India Scheme also envisages extending hand-holding support to the potential borrowers. It provides for convergence with Central/State Government schemes. Applications under the scheme can also be made online on the dedicated Stand up India portal

Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs):
We also want to draw your attention towards Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs). The Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs) offer residential training programs free of cost to rural youth to enable them to develop skills to start their own enterprises, thus fostering self-employment.
